Using this site

How do I sign up to use this site?

To give us your feedback using this website, you will need to do the following:

• Sign up by clicking the “Register” button on the right hand side of any page.

• Choose a username and password

• Complete a few questions about you

• You will then receive an email to validate your email address

• Return to the website and click the “Sign In” button to start giving us your comments and queries.

Why do I need to register to this site to make a comment or ask a question?

You don't need to register to visit the site and view the information on it, but you do need to sign up to use our feedback tools. This is because:

• It encourages people to be polite and leave helpful feedback (even if you don't agree with our proposals)

• It encourages a wide variety of views

• It promotes a positive and safe environment for us all to share our thoughts and ideas.

When you have registered, you can interact with our pages to tell us what you think and give us your ideas and suggestions.

How are we using your feedback?

We will use everyone's feedback to help shape our regional resilience plan.

Is my privacy protected?

We will only use your email address to contact you if you ask us to do so - for example, if you let us know you are happy for us to send you regular email updates on our work, or to answer questions you have raised / discuss ideas you have put forward.
