As Organisational  Director for WRSE   Trevor's  key responsibilities include strategy/policy, engagement and business management. Trevor is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Exeter.

Prior to his current role Trevor worked at Ofwat for three years on long term assignment from the Environment Agency. At Ofwat Trevor’s specific areas of work included resilience, environmental delivery, catchment approaches, clean/wastewater planning and aspects of PR19. At the Environment Agency Trevor was Deputy Director of Water Resources which included all aspects of water resource regulation, strategy and operations.

Previous to the Environment Agency Trevor worked for over 10 years in the Water Industry with a wide range of both strategic and operational roles in a number of water companies. Trevor also supports water sector international engagement and current sites on the International Water Associations Strategic Council.

Create 51   is a strategic communications company who specialise in corporate communications, stakeholder and reputation management, customer research and engagement, design, digital and social media. WRSE has commissioned Create51 to support their communications activities for the next 3 years. 

Penny is a Director at Create51 ,she has nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate communications including media relations, issues management, public consultation, public affairs and strategic stakeholder engagement.

She has worked extensively in the water industry but also has experience of working in the NHS, central government and a national sports governing body.

She is passionate about working with organisations to bring their business priorities to life in a way that engages and involves customers and stakeholders to build credibility and trust.
